Accessibility and availability of mobile devices are increasing. As far as broadcast media goes, there are many TV broadcast stations (729) and over 1,400 radio stations. Lastly, internet access and usage is a bit less than half of the population, 41.1 percent to be specific, which is 49.5 million people! Mexico is ranked number 12 in the world for the amount of people that are using the internet.
Transportation: Mexico is ranked number three in the world for the number of airports with 1,714 airports, some of these airports may be paved runways (243) where others may not (1,471). There are a total of 15,389 kilometers of railways in Mexico, ranked 16th in the world, they have a total of 377,660 kilometers, ranked 19th in the world, and lastly Mexico has 2,900 killometers of waterways such as coastal canals and navigable rivers, ranked 33rd in the world. As far as ports and terminals, major seaports include Altamira, Coatzalcoalcos, Lazaro Cardenas, Manzanillo, Veracruz, and many more. Various oil terminals include Cayo Arcas terminal and Dos Bocas terminal. These ports are used to ship imports and exports in to and out of Mexico. .
